Consumer Protection: GWA Road Damage

On November 27, 2023, the Office of the Attorney General launched a formal civil and criminal investigation into the Guam Waterworks Authority's failure to restore the People of Guam's roadways and their resulting illegal damages.

These roadways cost the People of Guam and Federal taxpayers millions of dollars to create and maintain. However, GWA, in maintaining their sewer and water services for which they generate profits, failed to properly restore the illegal damages they inflict upon the People's properties. In addition, their unsatisfactory restoration work continues endangering both motorists and pedestrians as the driving public has encountered these potholes and and speed bumps directly associated with GWA work.
