Sex Predator David Cruz sentenced to 25 years in jail for sexually assaulting minor

April 12, 2021- Tamuning, Guam- Convicted felon David James Paco Cruz was sentenced today by Judge Vernon P. Perez to 25 years imprisonment at the Department of Corrections.

A jury found Cruz guilty of two counts of First Criminal Sexual Conduct as a First Degree Felony and two counts of Third Degree Criminal Sexual Conduct as a Second Degree Felony in January 2020 for sexually assaulting a minor known to him on multiple occasions.

Prosecuting Attorney Lenny Rapadas said, “The defendant tried to portray the victim as a monster, but the jury found him to be the monster when they convicted him of his crimes. The victim remained brave throughout her testimony and today’s sentence validates her bravery.”
