Search for New Medical Examiner to Recommence Following Letter of Withdrawal

May 11, 2022- Tamuning, Guam- The Guam Post Mortem Commission has learned that Dr.
Jeffrey S. Nine has submitted a letter of withdrawal for the medical examiner position,
citing medical reasons.

The Commission will recommence its search for a new medical examiner. In the meantime,
Guam will continue to rely on doctors from Arkansas, Florida, and Hawai’i for forensic
autopsies and Dr. Aburiziq and Dr. Dauterman for non-forensic autopsies.
