Rinext Riosen Gets 90-Year Prison Sentence for Repeatedly Raping Young Victim

July 06, 2022- Tamuning, Guam- Rinext Riosen has been sentenced to 90-years incarceration at the Department of Corrections by Presiding Judge Alberto C. Lamorena III following his sentencing hearing this morning.

The young victim told the jury during the December 2021 trial that she was molested for years, and testified that it only ended when she became pregnant at the age of 11.

The rapist was convicted of three counts of First Degree Criminal Sexual Conduct for engaging in sexual penetration with a minor under 14 years of age.

Prosecuting Attorney Sean Brown said, “The impacts these cases have on victims and their families don’t go away after any number of years. The victims deal with the effects for life. As such, a 90-year sentence is the proper punishment for this defendant.”
