Jury finds Orlando Hadley guilty for burglary, other charges

October 15, 2021- Tamuning, Guam- Orlando Hadley has been convicted by a Superior Court of Guam Jury following trial that began Wednesday. Hadley, who initially told police his name was Jess Partolome, broke into the home of his ex-girlfriend by removing the sliding glass panels of the bathroom window and climbing in. He admitted to officers that he became angry after learning she was dating someone else and wanted to fight him.  

He could spend up to 10 years imprisoned at the Department of Corrections for Burglary as a Second Degree Felony, Criminal Trespass as a Misdemeanor, and Harassment as a Petty Misdemeanor. His sentencing will take place sometime in December.

Prosecuting Attorney Jeremiah Luther said, “Today’s verdict was a message that no person has the right to invade the peace and security of another’s home. I am grateful that no physical injury resulted from these events and that the family can move on knowing that justice has been done. I thank the jury for their service and their attention to this case.”

Assistant Attorney General Grant Olan co-chaired the trial with him.
