Joey Terlaje Indicted for Felonious Restraint, Official Misconduct

December 17, 2021- Tamuning, Guam- A Superior Court Grand Jury Panel has indicted Joey Alan Acfalle Terlaje of Felonious Restraint as a Third Degree Felony and two charges of Official Misconduct as a Misdemeanor.

This follows several months of active investigation by the Office of the Attorney General, to include the collection and review of evidence and witness interviews.

According to the indictment, Terlaje is accused of exposing the victim to risk of serious bodily injury at a barbeque back in 2017 and for ignoring and abusing his position as a government official in relation to a crime committed.
The defendant will be arraigned on January 05, 2022 at 10am.

A Grand Jury is made up of 16-23 members of the community who hear evidence and decide whether there is reasonable cause to believe that an accused has committed a crime.
