Guam OAG, Washington’s Clark County Sheriff’s Office, and Honolulu Police Department collaborate in extradition of man charged with child molestation to Washington State

June 08, 2022- Tamuning, Guam- Following weeks of planning and coordination, the collaboration between the Office of the Attorney General of Guam (OAG), Washington State’s Clark County Sheriff’s Office, and the Honolulu Police Department (HPD) resulted in the successful extradition of a man wanted for child molestation charges.

Defendant Aichy Sairin fled Washington in 2021 and attempted to evade authorities by hiding on Guam. On May 03, 2022, Sairin was extradited from Guam when investigators from the OAG escorted Sairin to Hawaii and relinquished custody to HPD and Clark County officials. Sairin was then taken to Washington and will answer to three charges of Child Molestation as a First Degree Felony.
