Court sentences Ilaisao to 12 months for aggravated assault

June 18, 2021- Tamuning, Guam- Judge Arthur Barcinas sentenced P. Last Ilaiso yesterday to 12 months in jail for Aggravated Assault as a Third Degree Felony. The charge stems from an altercation in Toto last year.

Under the terms of the plea agreement, Ilasio was sentenced to 3 years and faced between zero to twelve months in jail. Prosecution argued that the defendant serve 12 months in jail.

Prosecuting Attorney Katherine Nepton said, “We wanted to ensure the defendant took responsibility for his violent actions by arguing for the full length of his incarceration under the agreement. It is never OK to attack someone, especially a family member.”
