CICC awards over $60k to crime victims and their families

March 21, 2019, Tamuning, Guam- The Criminal Injuries Compensation Program (CICP) awarded over $60,000 to 13 eligible applicants during a meeting held today.

The CICP is intended to help victims and their families with crime-related expenses such as medical bills and repairs to damaged property. The Criminal Injuries Compensation Fund is supported by monies received from fines imposed upon defendants in criminal cases involving violent crimes.
